How many treatments are required?

On average, a series of 3 treatments may be required over the course of a few months. The number of injections at each session does vary.

How soon will I see results?

Sculptra is designed to give you noticeable results that emerge gradually and can last anywhere from 5-7 years. You will start to see your skin’s natural collagen production after about 6-8 weeks but results can improve for up to 12 months!

How soon after treatment can I wear make up?

We recommend avoiding makeup use for at least 24- 48 hours to prevent the risk of infection.

Collagen stimulators, such as Sculptra, are used to restore volume deep into the skin. Results are gradual and may require 1-3 injection sessions over the course of a few months. The collagen that is stimulated can last 5-7 years as your body loses its natural collagen.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Botox and Dysport are both purified neuromodulator proteins. Through clinical studies and our experience, we believe Botox and Dysport perform equally. Botox® Cosmetic is an FDA-approved injectable that can be used to temporarily improve the appearance of forehead wrinkles, wrinkles in between the brows (glabella), and crow’s feet in adults. Botox® uses a form of botulinum toxin to temporarily paralyze muscle activity, which effectively relaxes the muscles and reduces the appearance of wrinkles on the skin. Botox® can also be used to reduce the effects of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). Dysport is used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead lines and the wrinkles around your eyes. The main difference between Botox and Dysport (besides the manufacturer) is the number of units. One unit of Botox is equivalent to three units of Dysport. The timing is dependent on the area and units used, but most people see results that last 3 to 4 months. That means with just a few treatments a year, you can stay wrinkle free.

Will Botox make me look like I've "had work done?"
