Afsha hussaini, NP
Lead Nurse Practitioner
As the Lead Medical Esthetician at Chin Up! Aesthetics, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients feel more confident and radiant in their skin since becoming licensed in 2019. My approach is rooted in compassion, education, and results. I believe that great skincare is about more than products or procedures—it’s about listening closely, understanding individual goals, and creating a plan that feels as personal as it is effective.
Having dealt with acne for many years myself, I know firsthand how skin concerns can impact confidence and self-esteem. That’s why I bring both clinical expertise and personal empathy to every treatment. Whether you’re struggling with acne, pigmentation, or the effects of ageing, I’m here to support you with a customised approach that evolves with your skin.
I’m also a certified laser practitioner, and one of my favourite treatments to perform is laser hair removal. It’s a transformative service that offers long-lasting results and a visible boost in confidence—something I truly love seeing in my clients.
Special Interests
My clinical interests focus on treating acne, pigmentation disorders, and age-related skin changes. I utilise a combination of advanced modalities, including medical-grade facials, chemical peels, and laser therapies, to deliver targeted results. Every treatment plan is customised because no two skin stories are the same.
I’m particularly passionate about laser hair removal. It’s more than just a cosmetic service—it’s a confidence-boosting solution that simplifies routines and delivers real, lasting change.
Ongoing education is a big part of my work. I regularly attend industry conferences and advanced training sessions to stay ahead of new technologies and innovations in esthetics. This allows me to bring cutting-edge treatments to my clients with confidence and care.
When I’m not in the treatment room, I’m often immersed in learning—whether that’s diving into new skincare research, testing new products, or exploring ways to improve client experience. I’m a big believer in balance, so I also prioritise downtime with family and close friends, which helps me recharge and be fully present for my clients.
My own journey with skin has taught me the importance of patience, persistence, and kindness—not just toward your skin, but toward yourself. That’s the energy I aim to bring to every appointment: one of trust, care, and collaboration.
I received my esthetics license in 2019 and have since earned my certification as a laser practitioner. My professional development includes ongoing coursework in advanced esthetic treatments, acne therapy, pigmentation correction, and non-invasive anti-ageing techniques.
I’m committed to continuous learning and proudly stay up to date with industry standards, emerging technologies, and evidence-based techniques to ensure the best outcomes for every client I work with.
