Our laser practitioners also adjust your settings based on how you report your hair growth to be in order to ensure that we are safely treating your areas of concern.

Does laser hair removal really work?

Yes! This treatment targets hair in its initial growing phase and the multiple sessions help ensure we are targeting all of your hair follicles. It is the safest way to reduce unwanted hair!

How permanent is laser hair removal?

Most of our patients report 90% hair reduction in the treated areas! This is after 6-8 sessions. Sometimes, hormones can play a role and may cause stubborn hairs to persist but we will discuss this with you in our consultation and ensure that we are setting the appropriate expectations for you!

Why laser hair removal over waxing?

Laser hair removal treatments will provide you with more permanent results compared to waxing, or shaving! Those treatments can leave you with ingrown hairs, cuts, ripped skin. Laser hair removal feels like a rubber-band snap and can be very comfortable for our patients. Once you’ve completed your laser hair removal sessions, you’re done forever and can say goodbye to those razors and save so much money on waxing!

How should I prepare for my treatments?

We just ask that you keep the treatment area shaved. We ask that you shave the day before the day of your treatment – this helps ensure that the hair shaft is present for the laser to pick up on and remove! We also ask that you come without any tanning on your skin as well as cleanliness in the treatment area, including no lotions or makeup.

What is Emsculpt Neo?

Emsculpt Neo is a device that combines HIFEM + Radio Frequency technology to build muscle while reducing subcutaneous fat (fat around the major organs). This treatment can be used on the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, biceps/triceps, and calves. Four 30-minute sessions of this treatment are equivalent to doing 12-16 weeks of HITT training! Studies show on average a 30% reduction in fat and a 25% increase in muscle mass!

What is core to floor therapy?

Core to floor therapy utilizes two HIFEM therapies from Emsculpt Neo and Emsella to strengthen, firm, and tone the abdomen, back, and pelvic floor muscles. The results from combination therapy are increased muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia and restoration of neuromuscular control, which can improve strength and balance as well as incontinence. This therapy will be comprised of six Emsella treatments and four Emsculpt Neo treatments over six weeks.

How long does it take to see final results?

Results vary based on each patient. However, on average optimal results are realized 3 months after the final treatment. Often times our patients are noticing results within the first 3 weeks following their last session!

How often do I need to come in for treatments?

We see our patients once a week for 4-6 weeks.

What should I expect during an Emsculpt Neo consultation?

Our medical provider will take a brief history and discuss your goals. They will then determine if you are a good candidate for this treatment. Following that, we will take your photos and start your treatment plan!

Will it make me lose weight?

No. This is a common misconception with fat reduction procedures, whether it's surgical or non-invasive, is their minimal impact on the scale. Although the number won’t decrease your appearance will! You will notice a decent of fat removed and muscle built giving you that trimmed and thin appearance. At Chin Up! Aesthetics we combine all our Emsculpt Neo treatments with MIC/B12 injections to promote weight loss and accelerate our patient's results!

Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen- the most common protein in the body that is used to form a framework to support cells and tissue.

What areas does Sculptra treat?

Sculptra is used to correct shallow to deep wrinkles and folds on the face as well as skin laxity in the chest and volume loss in the buttock.

How soon will I see results?

Sculptra is designed to give you noticeable results that emerge gradually and can last anywhere from 5-7 years. You will start to see your skin’s natural collagen production after about 6-8 weeks but results can improve for up to 12 months!

What is the difference between filler and Sculptra?

Fillers are made of hyaluronic acid and are gel substances used to create support under the skin beneath wrinkles and creases. Results are immediate and usually last for 1-2 years. Collagen stimulators, such as Sculptra, are used to restore volume deep into the skin. Results are gradual and may require 1-3 injection sessions over the course of a few months. The collagen that is stimulated can last 5-7 years as your body loses its natural collagen.

What is the difference between the Sculptra BBL and surgery?

A Brazilian butt lift with Sculptra is an extremely easy procedure to have done. There is no liposuction involved so you avoid the healing and soreness of harvesting fat. You also do not have the downtime of avoiding sitting in certain positions after this procedure. These injections are done in under 60 minutes and are nearly painless with no downtime except injection site bruising. The results will last years and you can return to your normal exercise the next day!

What is Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is known as a “natural filler”. This treatment provides a more youthful appearance to the skin with minimal downtime. PRP is blood plasma that contains high concentrations of platelets that stimulate stem cells to help the body regenerate and heal at a faster rate. PRP improves skin texture, decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and smooths acne and surgical scars.

What are the results?

PRP facial rejuvenation stimulates your body’s own natural collagen production and it takes about 3 months for maximum collagen regeneration to occur. Patients will notice an improvement in their skin texture within the first month and it is recommended to have between 2-3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.

Can I combine this with filler and Botox?

For more immediate improvement, it is recommended to combine PRP facial injections with Botox, fillers, and even skin resurfacing treatments.

PRP facial injections are low risk as the process involves injecting a substance that is sourced from your own body. You may have some injection site bruising and swelling but this will resolve within a week. You can take Arnica to help with bruising and swelling following this treatment.

What are the post care instructions for PRP?

It is advised to not apply makeup immediately after the procedure and to keep the injection site clean. It is also advised to avoid anti-platelet medications such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen to ensure optimal results. We also ask that you avoid vigorous exercise immediately after the treatment.

What is a Keravive Treatment?

How long does the results from the treatment last?

If you notice your hair improving, such as the quality and density because it’s thicker and healthier – it will not disappear if you stop treatment. However, the issue of hair loss begins to happen if your scalp health deteriorates after 18 months of no care. If you continue to keep the scalp healthy, you will continue to sustain your results. Keep up with the scalp stimulating spray to maintain those results!

Am I a good candidate for this treatment?

Depends, if you do have scalp diseases or hormonal issues that impact your hair health, that may impede your results. These should be discussed with your dermatologist or skin care specialist and identify those issues before getting treatment to ensure we can obtain optimal results.

Is Keravive good for stress induced hair loss?

Is Keravive better then oral products?

Will this work on eye lashes, eyebrows, or beards?

We do not recommend this treatment for eyelashes, however, we have seen significant improvement in the eyebrows and beards!

When will I see results?

For optimal scalp health, we recommend a series of 3 in−office treatments, once a month for 3 consecutive months, with daily use of the take−home spray between in−office treatments.

What is Urinary Incontinence?

Urinary Incontinence is defined as the involuntary leakage of urine. This could be a result of weak pelvic floor muscles since these are the muscles that support pelvic organs and control continence. Kybella is a non-invasive injection designed to target fat cells under the chin.
