Chemical Peels

There are several types of Chemical peels that are used to remove the outermost layers of the skin to help with deeper correction. No peel is one size fits all therefore, we offer medical grade chemical peels ranging from light to deep to fit everyone’s needs. Refine Peel - Light Peel

The Refine Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel and the most popular peel of the Marini Peel System that is appropriate for all Fitzpatrick Skin Types. It contains a proprietary blend of ingredients to help rejuvenate the skin. Our patients have seen a visible improvement to their skin after just one treatment with optimal results after a series of treatments.

This peel combines lactic, salicylic, and citric acid – followed by a highly concentrated Retinol Activator that contains retinol, peptides, and antioxidants.

How long is the downtime for a chemical peel?

The downtime with a refine peel is very minimal. Expect your skin to peel between 2-4 days. This is a great peel for anyone wanting to get exposure to chemical peels and looking to rejuvenate their skin.

Benefits Include:

  • Overall skin rejuvenation to address fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stimulates collagen production
  • Improves pigmentation, acne, and melasma
  • Safe for all skin types

Peels can be applied to the face, decollete, shoulders, arms, and hands in separate applicators.

Transform Peel - Aggressive Peel

Not just any ordinary peel, the Transform Peel is the most aggressive peel of the Marini Peel System. It is an excellent solution to address pigmentation and advanced sun damage while providing overall skin rejuvenation.

This medical-grade peel consists of a full-proof three-step process that will truly transform your skin! Initially the medical professional will cleanse the skin to prime it before applying the serums. Next, the aesthetician will apply the combination of three key ingredients lactic acid (helps reduce acne breakouts, salicylic acid (the peeling agent that causes shedding of the outer layer of skin), and resorcinol (another peeling agent to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles). Finally, the treatment will end with the application of a Retinol Activator which consists of 1% Retinol, anti-aging peptides, and antioxidants to augment the healing process.

How long is the downtime for a chemical peel?

Downtime for the transform chemical peel is about 5-7 days. This means that you will have a few days of peeling of dead skin. The peel is applied and you will feel a little tingling sensation for about 10 mins then it will return back to normal. This is a step by step process of how your skin will be during the 5 days of downtime.

Benefits Include:

  • Stimulates collagen production
  • Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Removal of surface dead skin cells.
  • Firmer skin
  • Reduced texture
  • Reduced hyperpigmentation
  • Reduced appearance of sunspots
Peel can be applied to the face, décolleté, shoulders, arms, and hands in separate applicators.
